fern stores only the information you choose to log. this may include entries such as symptoms, food, mood, journal notes, activity, or other inputs you manually provide.

each entry is stored with associated timestamps and structural metadata required to evaluate patterns over time. no additional data is collected beyond what is necessary for the system to function.

data is securely stored using supabase infrastructure. access is restricted and limited to the development environment required to operate and maintain the beta version of fern.

fern does not and will never sell user data. fern does not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

fern does not use your data to train external AI models. insights are generated using rule-based correlation logic applied to your own data within the system.

you may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing:

upon request, your stored data will be permanently deleted from the system.

fern is currently in private beta. infrastructure and policies may evolve as the product grows, but the commitment to user data privacy will remain consistent.
